ERIK THE VIKING MAKES HIS DEBUT

On 20th August 2011 it was the day new Pompey signing Erik Huseklepp made his debut.

Huseklepp made his debut today (Saturday) away at Bristol City.

The 26 year old has been training with the Blues for the last two days and finally it was announced on Friday that he was confirmed a Pompey signing and could feature on Saturday at Bristol City.

He sadly was on the bench for kick-off and didn't come on until around the 87th minute; however, he did look dangerous when he came off the bench! A cross for Benjani sadly was just too high for Benjani to get a head on to.

The game finished 0-0, Pompey now with one win, two draws, & one defeat, not too bad a start this season .

Pompey next play next Saturday at Fratton Park against Cardiff City.
