Born on 8 April 1992 in Ealing. Oliver is a striker, who began his career at North Greenford United before moving to Hillingdon Borough in 2010. He joined Northwood in 2011 and was club top scorer two seasons running. Oliver moved to Hemel Hempstead Town in the summer of 2013 and spent some time on dual registration at Harrow Borough. He moved to Dagenham & Redbridge in January 2016. Oliver signed a three-year deal with Pompey on 31 August 2017.

Oli left Pompey in July 2020 and has since signed for League One rivals Ipswich Town. A firm favourite with fans, he will be remembered particularly for scoring the penalty that clinched Pompey's memorable EFL Trophy win at Wembley in 2019 against Sunderland.
